The sale will go through, it sometimes just doesn’t show up on my side of things, so to speed your getting the designs, please contact ME with your format. Luckily this doesn’t happen very often.
- You must have the necessary software/hardware to transfer these designs to your
embroidery machine, and know how to facilitate this. I cannot take responsibility or
provide assistance in this regard due to the numerous different brands of
machines/software/hardware. If you are unsure, please find out before purchasing, as
I cannot offer refunds.

- My designs are sold individually. When checking out, PLEASE pay attention to the format that you need, as designs are non refundable. These are electroinc sales, so there are no refunds. If the files were corrupt upon sending them, I will replace that same file, just email & I will resend it.
- You will also need to pay attention to the SIZE of the design. I like my designs big, & some machines cannot sew these out. When possible, I do split the designs, or have a large & small version in the same design folder. However, if a large design cannot be stitched in a certain format, you will only get the small size.( jef & xxx will not do the larger files, but there will be notes on each design to let you know)
- I cannot be responsible for the way the designs stitches out on your machine, especially if you have altered the size of the design. Every design is checked several times before putting it up on the web site. You can see clearly how the design stitches out on the samples sewn. If you do not stabalize properly, use good thread , or good needles, then that is beyond my control. My designs were created with children's clothing in mind, using good quality natural fiber fabrics. Putting them on thicker fabrics , toweling, fleece, knits, fur, etc. can be done, but you can expect to have different finished results than what you see.
- A lot of the designs for the JEF & XXX & ART formats are the same size, only rotated. They need to be in the portrait position instead of the landscape position.
- Designs are sent in a zipped folder. Each folder will have a general directions page, color change/direction sheet, photo, & the design. Some designs may have a pattern piece to go along with an applique, these will be in the zipped folder as well. Please read the general directions page, it has useful information on it. I suggest that you open & print the two pages of directions.
- When downloading the folder, please pay attention to where you are placing them on your computer. It is a good habit to always use the same place for downloading designs. And then later you can put them where you want them to be. I personally have everything sent to "my doucments". Later, when I open them,I will send the embroidery design to a folder that I created for purchased designs. I will also save them in an external drive for back up reasons.
- I suggest that you back up your designs in case you computer crashes. I put all of my designs on an external drive, just in case that awful thing happens!
- If you have problems opening designs, you can email me. I want to make sure you are happy with your purchase. But first, let me say this: All machines & their formats behave differently & it's impossible for me to know all of the machines on the market. The only time someone has had a problem opening a design, is if they are trying to open it through their software that is not the same version as mine. Example: The design has been saved in version 7, & you are trying to open it from version 5 software. This cannot be done. However, if your sewing machine uses a floppy, cd, USB, (how ever you get designs to your machine) you can send the design into one of these & bring it into your machine - & it will stitch it out. I save the designs in an earlier version, so there shouldn't be a problem. There will be other readable files in the zipped folder, & your software program will not open these. You will need to unzip those files & double click to open them up.
- PLEASE NOTE: When you bring designs into software, or your machine - the colors may not look the same as what you see in the photo. All machines "read" colors differently. I have seen some pretty weird colors! This is controlled by you & what colors YOU choose to sew your appliques in. My machine may see a giraffe as yellow while yours see it as purple. You will of course sew the giraffe accordingl to your shade of fabric.
- Some of the art work was purchased from www.clipartopolis.com and from www.designstitch.com They have really neat art work!
